Adoption conditions

At Domaine Des Saules, every adoption is more than just a transaction; it's the beginning of a beautiful story between you and your four-legged companion. To give our puppies the best possible start, we ask each adoptive family to commit to caring, responsible, and respectful of the animal.

1. A commitment for life

By welcoming a Labradoodle into your home, you are committing to providing it with a life filled with care, security, and affection. This includes:

  • A loving, stable home that meets her needs

  • A healthy diet, regular veterinary care, and sufficient exercise

  • A minimum of one annual medical check-up

  • Compliance with municipal and provincial laws (e.g., licensing, number of animals, etc.)

And let's not forget: our Labradoodles have magnificent coats that deserve your full attention. By adopting, you also commit to caring for them regularly and gently. To help you, here's a useful guide for those with curly fur:

2. Responsible adoption

Adopting from Domaine Des Saules means committing to providing a forever home. We understand that life can sometimes take unexpected turns. If the puppy is not a good fit for your situation or if you are no longer able to care for it, it is essential that the animal be returned to the breeder. This return is made without a refund or financial compensation, but with the assurance that the puppy will be welcomed into a loving environment.

Under no circumstances may the dog be given away, transferred, sold or abandoned in a pound, SPCA or any other shelter.

3. Reproduction prohibited

Our puppies are sold without breeding rights. The adopter agrees to have the animal spayed or neutered.

  • Before the first heat for a female

  • Before 12 months for a male

Our puppies may under no circumstances be used for commercial purposes, breeding or intensive hunting.

4. Monitoring and well-being

At Domaine des Saules, our top priority is ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of each of our puppies. With this responsibility in mind, we reserve the right to monitor the dog's welfare. In the event of animal abuse, the breeder may reclaim the animal without compensation.
